Luke was born and raised in Melbourne, and grew up playing tennis at Fee Ave. He was homeschooled and played for Melbourne High School his freshman year. He then played for Florida Prep his last three seasons, where he made the semifinals in districts playing number one singles. He also spent a season training with the inaugural EFSC tennis team in 2015. During his senior year, Luke and Artie teamed up and won the Brevard men’s doubles championship. Luke then went to Southeastern University where he played NAIA tennis, and coached at Beerman Tennis Center in Lakeland, FL. Luke graduated in 2019 with a degree in Sport Management. He has coached tennis since 2014 and is PTR certified, with focused certifications in ages ‘10 and Under’, ‘11-17’, and ‘Performance Tennis’. When not on court, Luke loves anything involving the water and is very passionate about cars.
